Hand-forged steel rhododendron leaves crowned with a delicate glass flower in soft pink and white. Inspired by the mountain rhododendron that blooms each spring across Western North Carolina, this sculptural piece captures the feeling of a blossom held in perpetual blossom.
The glass flower was designed by artist Bill Brown and handblown by glass gaffer Kenny Pieper, creating a collaboration between glass and forged metalwork at Anvil Arts Studio. This would display beautifully alongside the Rhododendron Candlestick or Fallen Foliage.
Details:
Materials: Hand-forged steel and handblown glass
Dimensions: 8” x 8” x 4”
Each piece is individually crafted; subtle variations in form and finish are part of the process.
