Inside J. Aaron Alderman's New Public Art Commission

Summer has arrived, and the gallery is full of new work.

Recent arrivals from Rick Beck, Tim Turner, Mary-Ann Prack, and Kenneth Charles have transformed both the gallery and sculpture garden, making this an especially exciting time to visit Anvil Arts. We're also excited to share a new addition to the Anvil Arts website: an in-depth conversation with sculptor J. Aaron Alderman.

The article explores Aaron's creative process, the ideas behind his work, and a major public art commission currently underway for a new orthopedic hospital campus in Colorado. From small maquettes to large-scale installations, Aaron discusses how themes of movement, connection, and participation shape his sculptures.
